• Currently accepted in an accredited BA or BS program or currently enrolled in a BA or BS program in Early Childhood Education or Child Development

Jennifer will send you a packet with more information and a formal application to fill out and return to Central Office. The packet will be reviewed by a group of staff and parents and a decision made for the first scholarships for the fall in the next few weeks. For the Fall of 2009 ONLY preference will be given to individuals who are already enrolled a BA or BS program.
If you are selected for the Scholarship BA program, you will commit to:
• Signing an education assistance agreement, which states you will meet all Head Start Act requirements regarding pay back a portion or all of the scholarship if you choose to leave OCDC prior to the stipulated time of agreement after completion of your degree
• Maintain a GPA of 2.8 while in the program
• Complete two required courses per term
In return, you will receive:
• A scholarship of up to $5,000 for tuition, fees, and text books.
